Jayna M. Voss
Jayna Voss joined the firm in 2000 and became a partner in 2002. She was born in Huron, South Dakota, and grew up on a farm near Wessington, South Dakota. She graduated with highest honors from South Dakota State University with a degree in Business Economics and a minor in Accounting in 1992. Jayna earned her law degree from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 1995. During her law studies, she also served as a teaching assistant and was Editor-in-Chief of the South Dakota Law Review.
Jayna was admitted to the South Dakota Bar in 1995 and to the United States District Court, District of South Dakota, and the United States Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit, in 1996. After serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Roger L. Wollman, United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, she became an associate at Woods, Fuller, Shultz & Smith, PC, where she practiced general business law until joining Cutler & Donahoe, LLP, where her primary area of practice is estate planning. Jayna enjoys this area of practice since she interacts with many of the firm's clients. She has helped numerous individuals plan their estates and has worked with families to administer and implement the plans.
Jayna and her husband, Shane, have three daughters, Danielle, Cassandra, and Sydney. She enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family.
