Kent R. Cutler
Kent Cutler is a native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas in 1988, with a degree in political science and history. Kent received his law degree in 1991 from the University of South Dakota School of Law.
Following law school, Kent returned to Sioux Falls and established a private law practice. In 1997, he joined his father, Rich Cutler, and Brian Donahoe, in founding Cutler & Donahoe, LLP. Kent's practice is focused on representing plaintiffs in civil and commercial litigation, where he has obtained substantial verdicts for his clients. In 1994, he successfully challenged the constitutionality of South Dakota's $150 million video lottery network.
Kent and his wife, Carolyn, have two children. In his free time, Kent enjoys playing golf, skiing, and spending time with his family. He is also involved with many community organizations and has served as President of the Second Circuit Bar Association.
